We live in a new information era, and access to vast amounts of information is changing the way people learn and do research. This access to information is vital in education because timely data and statistics can form a mental anchor that enables students to digest and remember key principles and ideas in any field. This web-based learning tool is designed to showcase up-to-date, real-world data to bring principles of economics to life.

How to Use This Site
The Real World Data for Economics Principles web site currently contains two learning objects, which can be seen at the left column of this page under the headings Phillips Curves? and Public Debt vs. GDP. These headings colored dark-purple are clickable, and provide you with the only way to navigate through each learning objects. The headings colored dark-red are the "Home" section of the site. Each learning object is split into three subsections, which can be seen also at the left column of each learning object site under the headings ABOUT, SHOWCASE, and SOURCES right beneath the main heading of each learning object.

Instructor's Guide
This web site containing modules specific to numerous economic topics is designed to provide the economics data illustrated by graphical animations for your principles economics lectures. Each individual module can be served as a punch line for the lecture topic. Some related materials, original data and sources web links are also provided.

Student's Guide
You may gain a better understanding about the economic issues which interest you by viewing the specific topics in this web site. The animation will help you to anchor the economic reasonings.
